In the month of June in 2004 a group on 7 or so guys were out riding bikes, hanging out, having fun in Tar Hill, NC, at a local spot. We saw that everyone were getting along real well. We've often talked about getting a motorcycle club together. We decided to have a meeting to discuss that possibility.

On July 11, 2004 at Shell’s House, We had our first meeting. In attendants were: Shell Bell, Roger Sumpter, Durwood Matthews, Chris McKoy, Chris McKay, Leon Mcnair and Reggie Patterson. We discussed what each of us was looking for in a club. After discussing and addressing everyone concerns. We all agreed it’s what we were looking for and on that day we official became a motorcycle club. At the time no one had any ideas on a club name or club colors. We decided at the next meeting we’ll vote on a name, colors and patch design. Good times were about to start.

On Aug 1, 2004 at Reggie’s house we had about 10 to 12 names to choose from. After eliminating names, the name that was still standing: “SLOW YA ROLL”, Colors chosen: black and gray. Patch design: Top patch: Arch shape, Main patch: pentagon shape, Bottom patch: rectangle shape. Good times were about to start.

“SLOW YA ROLL” Meaning: We’re all getting a little older, getting a little wiser. We’re not trying to go 200 mph (some time we do), we just want to enjoy life, taking our time, not in a hurry. Just a group of guys enjoying brother hooding, riding bikes.
